सर्व मङ्गल माङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थ साधिके ।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरी नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥

Explanation of the Mantra
The phrase “O Goddess, who is the most auspicious of all auspicious things, the embodiment of goodness, and the fulfiller of all desires, O three-eyed Gauri, the refuge of all, the consort of Lord Narayana, I bow to you” is translated into English.

In Hindi:
“हेदेवी, जो सभी मंगलकारी चीजों में सबसे पवित्र हैं, कल्याण की प्रतिमूर्ति और सभी इच्छाओं की पूर्ति करने वाली हैं,
हेतीन-नेत्रों वाली गौरी, सभी की शरण, भगवान नारायण की अर्धांगिनी, मैं आपको नमन करता/करती हूँ।”

In Kannada:
“ಎಲ್ಲಾಮಂಗಳಕರವಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ದೇವಿ, ಶುಭದ ಪ್ರತೀಕ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಚ್ಛೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವವಳು,
ಮೂರುಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಗೌರಿ, ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಆಶ್ರಯ, ನಾರಾಯಣನ ಪತ್ನಿ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.”

How the Mantra Is Chanted

  1. Morning (Brahma Muhurta, 4–6 AM) or evening (Sandhya Kaal, sunset time) are the best times to chant.

Ideally in a hygienic and tranquil setting, following a bath.

  1. Chanting Technique: Take a comfortable seat, such as in Padmasana or Sukhasana.

Light an incense or ghee lamp (optional).

Repeat the mantra eleven, twenty-one, or 108 times every day.

For counting, use a tulsi mala or rudraksha.
